I had the opportunity to use the EX1 first hand in the field on a production for the Ladd family under David Ladd (Producer of Hart's War, ect). The film exclusively used the SGPro. While I get permission to post a couple of screens, here is a pair of before/after test stills.
On a side note, I might add that the Ladds are an absolute pleasure to work with. David was a real gentleman while shooting and freely offered great advice on set.
Both screens are F5.6 on lens and F2.8 on Camera. Lens is 50mm Carl Zeiss ZF.
Notice the corners primarily. This is a somewhat quick setup keep in mind. Overall the framing is pretty much the same. I kept the camera locked down and simply slid the unit off enough with the lens stilled mounted and installed the new achromat. The installation is basically just unscrew the old one, then place the glass into the retainer ring and while holding the flip with the gate opening facing down, start to screw the retainer ring into it. Otherwise the loose achromat glass can slip around and get scratched.
Edit: I can't figure out how to upload pictures. I thought there was an upload button but its not in the edit window. I also tried html text and that didn't work with adding the line. Until then I'll just post a link to photobucket.
The package contains the achromat glass, a retainer ring, and a new condenser with 3 screws/wrench:
