how do I accentuate the T?

I often find that the final T on some actors' words gets swallowed up in my audio. So my fear is the line won't be understood. Is there a way to accentuate the T in post audio? (There's always a way I'm sure.) I tend to do most my audio right in the NLE, which doesn't let me get into the smaller moments within a single frame (there's more "audio time" in a single 1/24fps frame than picture time). Maybe that's the key?

You need software that let's you do surgery. You might try finding the attack of the t-sound and boosting the gain and enhancing the EQ just for that small "t" sound. You need to be able to magnify the track so you have just the one word in front of you ready for surgery. I like Adobe Audition especially for this work & Cubase is alsp nice but I find it better for my MIDI work. Maybe someone else has ideas also.

EQ can help by enhancing the attack part of the word with a 2 to 4 dB boost in the 3k - 4k sibilance range. Something must be going on with the talent or the mic.

Like 10s said, try boosting the sibilance with EQ, but if you can, automate it so it only kicks in when you need it.
