Letus Extreme35 for 2/3" - Test video with HPX500

Okay, since there seems to be a little confusion over this rebate, I went to the B&H site and found the link for the PDF you fill out.

From reading that, it looks like you don't have to purchase any accessories or anything. It's a straight rebate off the HPX500 body. So yes, an HPX500 body would be $7,995 after rebate.

Keep in mind that you're going to need a tripod plate, a battery system, a lens and some cards before you can actually use it, of course.

So now, to add to the confusion: there's also another rebate form on Panasonic's website, giving all sorts of rebates on product bought at the same time and on the same invoice as an HPX500.

This other rebate form includes rebates like $500 off a lens, $50 off each 16GB P2 card, $100 off each 32GB P2 card, and $200 off the BT-LH80W monitor, and $200 off a P2 Gear.

I don't know if these rebates are able to be used simultaneously or if they somehow conflict with each other. The forms don't seem to say that they're exclusive...

I was curious about this as well because I was considering the camera and adding an LH80 (probably some P2 cards as well) and getting a rebate for each. I guess calling B&H is an option for clarification?

Also, what else is required with the B4 adapter? Judging from the pictures you just add the mount/lens of your choice on the end and shoot?
