i was joking about the score, i haven't taken an actual iq test (other than online) in quite some time. looking at the percentages though, they seem awfully low to me. i guess because i know how much of an idiot i am, it's kind of scary to think about being smarter than this many people.

No if you got a 75 on the test you would be in the 5th percentile. 95% of the people would have scored higher. The 99th percentile is where you are the top 1% in the scoring.
Yes. Those percentiles look about right to me.

You're right about one thing though - if you actually scored a 75 you probably would be confused about what the percentile numbers mean.

Wow, i guess I AM stupid because I have no idea how to read those results. How does this reflect percentages of people with a certain iq?
BTW I was only tested once, when I was really little, and the results said I was a genius! Of curse I have no faith the the results were accurate, but I've vowed never to test my IQ again just in case the results differ

IQ test are based on 100 being the average across the population. So it tapers as it gets higher or lower (not so busy MENSA meetings)
MENSA starts at 140 I think.
