Advertising Rip Off: Same Ad, Different Company

[morten]

I came across these two ads on CNN yesterday that are almost exactly the same but are for two different companies. take a look for yourself:

The Ladders vs BNP Paribas - Same Ad, Different Company

*not impressed*

I couldn't see the BNP Paribas one, but after doing a search in youtube I found this

http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=7vD_BCq8PAg is an internal motivation video.

[morten]

oh snap! the video has been blocked even on BNP Paribas' own website:

http://www.bnpparibas.com/en/home/

and no, it's not a motivational video - it's an ad.

I found it in one of their webpages, the 30 seconds ad still works.
direct link

it's not a motivational video - it's an ad.

the one that I linked to in the other post is supposed to be a internal motivation video. at least that is what the description in youtube says.

the link on dabbler is working again. guess it was just a glitch. and the ad BNP ad ran on the Situation Room 2 minutes ago

They're both similar for sure, job search ads, playing tenis, people going onto the court... but there are still enough differences that no one would win in a courtroom. Or are there?

Guess they would try anyways, no?

And...so?
