How do I capture HDV with 32khz audio? (12bit?)

Hi,

I recently bought a Canon HV20 and shot a few tapes of material before realizing the audio was set to 32khz.

Now when I try to capture that footage into FCP I do not get a video signal. My assumption is that since the HDV capture setting is set to 48khz it isn't recognizing the footage as HDV. I can't figure out how to change that setting, and there is no option to edit that preset because its locked.

Do I need to make a custom preset?

If so what settings work?

Maybe I got confused with another camera I was using at the time? But I am having import issues with some of the HDV footage and I'm not sure why.

Some tapes work fine and others won't show an in coming video signal. Have you experienced any issues like this with HDV?
