Senn CL100 XLR to 1/8" equivalent?

Is there a cheaper equivalent to getting a new factory cable? My tots were playing with my gear and clamped the CL100 cable in the Pelican case. I haven't tested it, but it's gotta be ruined. The outside insulation is in tact, but there's gotta be busted copper in there which can't be good. 45$ USD seems a little excessive but if that's what it takes...

If your good with a soldering iron just build your own. I dont believe there are any internal components to that wire. Just some wire, an XLR connector, and a 3.5 mm connector. Markertek sells the locking version. Should be more than $10 with shipping.

Last week, I just went to my local music shop and they whipped up a couple of these exact cables for me, with right angles -- for the cost of the cables/parts and and hourly charge of ($80/hour) -- ended up being $16 for labor + parts = less than $45 for (2) 1/2" to XLR cables for the Senn 100 series.

my soldering skills blow -- so this was well worth it to me

Yeah I didnt even think about a music store. If you dont want to solder one yourself any small music shop that does repairs should be able to do this easily and cheaply.
