GlideCam 4000 and Letus35 Extreme - Just Got It...

Tried it out with the Letus on the DVX with a 20mm and I'm a little upset with the fact that there is a clear vibration from the Letus when I go with the Glidecam. I'm not using a vest or anything and it's not that hard to hold or balance. The weight is front heavy so I hold the rod of the Glidecam 4000 and it works fine, but there is a noticeable vibration on certain parts when I am walking and when I shot test footage. I do not have money for the vest and arm, so maybe I will return the Glidecam 4000 and arm brace.

Has anyone else had this problem when using just the 4000 with the Letus?

You will feel any vibrations through the sled, when I am operating steadicam, I can feel the focus motor turning the lens. Cant feel the disk in the SGpro or M2 though...

It shouldn't affect the ballence too badly though...

It's more of a vibration on the quality of the video. You see it shake the video. I'm going to return it.

Do a search on vibration before you return it. It can be controlled. I use mine all the time.

I will test it out this weekend and we will call Glidecam on Monday. I feel that I will more than likely return the arm brace and 4000 for the price I got it for ($645) so that I can purchase something else, probably a Fig Rig. Anyone have experience with that and the Letus?
