I am looking for a tutorial on how to remove click-stops from the aperture on Canon FD lenses. Anyone remember where the tutorial is?

Thanks.

Hey man I was just looking for the same thing. Lets keep this thread hot. I just took apart a cheap nonMF FD lenses and it doesn't click anymore, but it doesn't exactly hold the iris open either now. I guess that little spring was important after all.

I just tried this on one of my junk/scratched 50mm F1.8 twistlock lenses. It was all going fantasticaly until I had to put it back together. The guts arnt the same as the guys in the video and I cant work out what pushie stick needs to stick into what, and im quite a technical person.

Dont try doing this unless your the guy in the video.

This is actually pretty easy. The only thing you have to do is get the iri ring off an take the bll bearing out of the little hole. That's it.I'm not sure what the link says ut that's all I ad to do.This is on the nikon lenses.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Canons: I want to remove them so I can have a complete free aperture, so I can choose any stop I want (even 1/2 and 1/4 stops) Its also nice for making a smooth transition from different exposures while recording.
