ANNOUNCEMENT: DVXUser Monthly - Subscribe Here

Thanks again for all of the interest in dvxuser Monthly. We're off to a great start, and contributors are starting to weigh in with their story ideas.

If you'd like to contribute, and we still need lots more material, please take a look at this basic set of guidelines for contributors. In general, we're trying to follow the dvxuser way of doing things with this publication.

Thanks,

John

I'd love to write a regular column. I'd like to write a detailed tutorial, starting from the beginning of creating a feature film and walking users all the way through distribution.

to kick off the first publication how about a history lesson. i would like to see an article tellin the history of the dvx, hvx and dvxuser. i would also like to see a dear abby type section where we can share stories that are more on the comical side, for example horror stories with bridezillas, sad stories about our lovely cams taken a fall or equipment failure during a shoot that leads to an uncomfortable situation with clients. im at the time its not funny but now after time passes it can be the lighter side of the publication.

These are good ideas. Make sure you guys pm John with your ideas for contribution, etc... Original poster, or you can use the link on the subscriptions page to get him or myself. We'll have a proper contact page for all of that stuff up soon. Hopefully in a couple of days. Just waiting on a domain name to propagate, which is taking longer than expected.

Later,
Jason

just subscribed! Great idea guys. I'm excited for the first issue, and hopefully I can contribute some stuff here and there.

One of the most lamented losses of magazines was "Film Crew" magazine, which covered all aspects of film production. Out of print copies are prized. If DVXU Monthly has any flavor of that, it should be pretty cool.

Hmmm... I don't know... a FREE magazine from DVXUSER... I'll hafta think about it.

DVXUser comes of age... Congratulations DVXUser team!!

Looking forward to receiving my first copy.

Awesome. I can't wait. Reading about Corrado in magazine form should be interesting. The 'zine should cover all the FAQ on the site, and step-by-step tutorial on using the search function... Just kidding. Or am I?
