Today I was recording a documentary with lots of crew for one day. By the end of the day we discovered that we only had one clip, the last.
I found out on shining's FAQ that I probably have not used that "Quick Erase" enoung and reached some absurd naming limit of 900 so it doesnt makes all new clips with the same name. It has been working flawlessly untill now and I never suspected anything.
Is it possible to retrive the lost clips? It seemed to work properly, the hd-warning lit up after several hours of use so it seemed to be filling up with something.
Using File Recovery I recovered several large files with the weird extensions .gdi .gz .jls .sgi and some .txt
Is there anyone who knows how this works? Can I convert the weird files to some normal format and is there any hope that they are the ones from today?
This is surch a disaster for me and for the entire production... I really appreciate any information that could help.
Regards,
Robin Nilsson
