Uh..... i dont actually think this is for real. Just thought it would
be funny to go through with the purchase with the ridiculous notion. I
actually plan on buying the Z-mount in a day or two. I would like to
know what is the real price. You have my email on file. Thank you for
being a good sport about this! :)

I figure you should know what your purchase page is offering people. It
says "Enter your own Price"

This is the confirmation email. Steve totally has to honor this price now!!!

Steve's reply email!

Mike,
Whops we made a mistake. But I will honor you price if you go on the
message boards and tell your crazy story.

Here's the deal. We will not be getting Z-Mount II's for 6 weeks.
Would you like a Z-Mount ver. 1, which is virtually the same thing but
slightly shorter?

Jackie,
We have a mistake on our store:
http://store.zacuto.com/product.php?productid=315&cat=0&page=1 please
change the price to $144, Text should say: taking pre orders. Available
End of May.

thanks,

I guess $1.00 was a limited time promotion. Too bad :crybaby:

Uh... actually Steve was dead serious! They just told me when I place my order for the zicro-mount II, they will send it with the z-mount for FREE. So they are giving me a $1.00 discount on top of that!

Zacuto is so awesome.

Lesson: it pays to window shop zacuto's site, even if you cant afford all of their stuff!

Zacuto is really awesome, I got their baseplate and rods and don't regret it at all even though it was quite a bit of money I spent.

Yeah my Zriser is brilliant, i thought it was expensive but i can see why now. Its a very nice block of engineering...

Nah, im a jerk. I thought I may get lucky and get it today even with ground shipping since they are only in chicago. I was wrong. It arrives monday. Which sucks because we could use it on the crowd scene.

Oh well, definitely on the Mordere production!

I have the Z-riser and it's superb. Zacuto are a great company and I highly recommend their gear. Expensive, yes but you get what you pay for, and in the case of Zacuto gear, its the best.
