...on my crusty old fx-1 in cineframe24 mode, which contrary to popular belief looks just fine when the pulldown is properly removed. Used Nikon primes indoors, and a tokina 35-105 FD 2.8 outdoors. I directed, shot all the non performance stuff, and did all editing and post work. Here is "Mirror" from The Supreme Beings of Leisure--

Looks great. I love how you actually shot through the Letus. I've always thought that was a cool effect. Fits very well in this case.

This keeps proving that it is not about the equipment but the operator. Batutta, you brought out the best of your camera and the Letus with your talent and experience and produced a great piece. Very well done.

Great job...I really liked the video, the shots, the editing...I liked it all

man that music video had no end though...that was the longest 5 minute music video.....that must have been one heck of a shooting and editing job!

well done

Yeah you did a great job, I'm amazed the fx1 can go this far look wise. I've got a friend with an fx1 could you pm the instructions to "properly" remove pulldown on cf24?

And I got to give it to you on using being zoomed not far enough in as a technique, never thought of that.

I did a write up here on it a while back. The secret is a program called JES De-Interlacer, which is free but only for macs--

wow... I didn't read your description before watching, and the whole time I was thinking HVX. Great work on making an average camera look great.
