Piece by Piece - a Letus Mini short shot with one wide prime only

It´s early spring, the first sunny day. Two girls are eating pizza at the beach. It´s windy but warm. Suddenly the wind rises...

Another short I spontaneously shot this weekend.
So here it is Piece by Piece

Sorry if those non native subtitles feel a bit clumsy.

It was shot on HV20 with Letus Mini and FD 24mm f2 lens, if anyone wonders.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers,
T

that was very, very nice. your compositions were gorgeous. one of the nicest pieces from the hv20 i've seen. thanks for sharing.

agreed, very nicely shot. The vignetting is a little extreme though haha. pun not intended

she is very beautiful, girlfriend? If not, get on that!

Oh well, that`s the minor downside of the Letus Mini I quess. Althrough this lens was zoomed in to almost Academy frame it still vignetted. Somehow at this zoom level my 14mm works much better in regards of vignetting. If I don`t find a solution to this occasional vignetting I´m forced to sell my Letus and get something decent instead as an adaptor is the cheapest piece to replace. And I can check all my lenses on SLR body to verify if it vignettes by it´s or by adaptor design...

Actually the other girl is, the one I`ve taken quite a bit photographs of...

Thanks for the kind words,
T

Toenis: Nice vid! So the Mini vignettes on this 24mm f/2?

Did you determine if it was the lens or the Mini that is causing the vignette?

When you said it "occassionally" vignettes, have you determined a pattern with regards to the type of lens where you see the most vignetting?

The weak link in this chain would be the hv20 I would assume. I get bad vignetting on mine with the sgpro because i cant zoom in too far and if i do the hv20 lens vignettes. On my Xha1 and dvx dont have this problem.
Cheers
Ps looks beautiful dude.
I have a 28mm f2.8, 50mm f1.8, 100mm f2.8 and 70-210mm f4 in the fds. Toenis can you recommend a lens or two to get.
Cheers
