Curugon (Sam Balcomb) did a killer job as a one man show VFX artist, I think.

I just hung around with the HVX and recorded stuff.

Seeing the Credits at the end? I really don't like my last name.
 
Well I saw the "Rainfall Films" thing at the end is why I asked.

Well, it's about a thousand times better than that crappy film of his dark materials, so congrats!

LOL Thanks from the whole team.

Sam lead the way all the way, from storyboards to completion it was a blast. Holding out on showing it around here and everywhere else was a very long wait.

Can't say enough about how glad I am to be a part of Rainfall films. I've learned a lot from these guys!
 
By the way, Sam B informed me earlier that it'll be playing on G4TV tonight at 8PM. If anyone has the channel, let me know how the HVX looks on television.
 
i guess it was just tons of green screen, but even for an april fools joke, it looks damned impressive.

would love to see how this was achieved. Amazing lighting, it just looked phony lol
 
There was definitely greenscreen. One of the days was dedicated to Greenscreen. I'll let Sam go into details, but Hyrule Castle was all practical. He's a madman in VFX, I have no idea HOW he replaced all the practical location with CGi.

not bad redrock. not bad. but the real hero is the hvx, god damn it is capable of beautiful images.
 
These guys are having a field day with it on this BLOG. A lot of people even think rainfallfilms was an invention of IGN, funny stuff.
 
LoL there are so many bad reviews but we still love every single one of them. Gotta take the bad with the good!
