Letus Extreme rig photos

Sup Papa,

I said in the post, that I didnt include my z-american arm in the pic. I dont watch the monitor on top of my camera when hand held. That's retarded :)

Hey MattyG,

its not all that heavy, but yes it will get tiring after awhile. If you go the cinevate route and want a counter balance, attach two universal blocks on top of each other. On the lower block, slide 7-10 inch rails + counter balance like the zacuto lunchbox. Then you simply use the upper rails block to slide on/off the counter balance to the rear of your rig when needed. Now your counterbalance has quickrelease capability. Currently with zacuto, you have to screw the rail extensions on individually, then fasten the lunchbox to the rail extensions. Unless you buy two Q-release plates, one for the shoulderpad and one for the counterbalance... and the costs keep rising.

I will update pics, if and when I purchase a lunchbox to do so. Currently, I have the same solution except instead of a lunchbox, I have a matthews boa bag strapped to the rails. Works just as well and is only like $35 bucks, but is not as pleasing to look at.

Hope to visit fatmonster sometime soon, and hope I get to meet you there too.

Hey this is not entirely in line with this thread, but I can't find it anywhere else. In line with my ultra low budget film life, I bought a Haier 7'' for a monitor. It actually doesn't look half bad. About on par with most portable DVD players, IMO. Anyway, I know that that shady company lcd4video uses these, and they sell a 12v rechargeable battery to use with this monitor. Does anyone know how to go about setting up a battery system like this from scratch? I don't know much about these v-mount batteries that everyone has hanging on their systems, but would something like that work? Or, even better, could you use Canon batteries somehow (I have an A1)? This is all important because a) I want to power my monitor, and b) I've also just got a LeX and am looking at rail options right now.

to support the mattebox :)

I made it via the rail bracket pieces from Letus, instead of several hundred dollar rigs from other companies.

I am new here i don't know how to poste can same one help thanks alot

www.imageshack.us
is a great site for hosting image files. They then give you a series of reference links.

I generally take the last one, that is just the file ( ends it .jpg )

you then take the file and insert it in between ["img"]["/img"] GET RID OF THE QUOTATION MARKS

hope that helps.
