Next Lens to get for 35mm Adapter?

I own a Letus35 Extreme and DVX and have a 20mm, 50mm, and 85mm fixed lens. I need to know what the next step is for a lens that I may need? 20mm is good for long shots, but maybe there's something where I can get a wider shot without it looking much like a fish eye lens? I want to keep price under $800 and have to get a Nikon lens (I have the Nikon-Mount).

135mm. I didn't think the 20mm lenses distorted so much? Is yours a nice quality 20mm? I have a 24mm Canon FD and it's fine. Perhaps get a 28mm then.

LEX can be zoomed in to get a tighter angle so your next lens could well be 200mm 2.8. Often those manual teles have a focus ring that turns about 360 degrees and doing so moves about 30mm back or forth leaving follow focus equipment useless. Internal Focusing ones are the way to go on the tele end.

Cheers,

I'm thinking of getting a zoom lens for under $1,000. Can anyone suggest one that's Nikon and what the mm would be on it? ie: 20-80 mm, etc.

My 20mm has some darkness on the sides unfortunatly. It's a f 2.8 and Nikon SLR. I'm looking for maybe a little wider without the darkness on the sides. I wanted to get some landscape shots, etc.

I'd say get a 24mm lens then if you feel your 20 is unusable. I don't think the 28mms are that wide.

I agree. between 18-24mm, every digit/mm is so much more significant than say between 27-28mm. It stops being a 'wide' before 28 - i think anyway :)
