glass falling out of LEX

Just got my lex this morning and put it togeather and the Glass fell out and about smashed on the floor luckly i caught it. Is it supposed to be loose? or fastened it?
 
Are you talking about the achromat? On the brevis it's fastened in tightly by allen screws, you don't want to drop that expensive sucker.
 
I know what you're talking about. The same thing happened to me while I was cleaning it. It's the clear glass in front of the GG, right behind the lens mount. It's glued in with a few dots of glue, but not enough to put any pressure on it.

I just removed the front section of the adapter and used black camera tape to tape the glass back in. The tape doesn't show up in the image at all, and problem solved.
 
Mine came like that though right out of the box. I got my adapter and everything today. 35mm christmas! and BAM! theres the glass inside the lens cap chip from a ruff fedex trip. I think they might of thought fragile was a french word. But Hien said to try to glue it up in the mean time and he'd send me a knew one. Great service.
 
Sounds like a common problem though which will hopefully be addressed before the adaptors are sent from the shop in the future.
