it's about a couple of losers that invent a game similar to baseball, except using a basketball, where you have to put off your opponent using any means necessary.
everything spirals out of control and they end up playing in the world championships. it's a comedy in the same vain as tv shows like southpark.

the current working title is "puttingoffscetball"

here are some grabs.

shot with sony Z1 in pseudo 25p/sgpro r3/nikkor AI 35mm f/1.4

Have you seen Basketball? Pretty much the same thing and made by the creators of South Park. Unless you were purposely copying for comedic effect.

SGpro looks amazing as usual. However the grabs look under exposed. Comparing the sky to their skin tones, looks like you could have had more success with a bounce board or some foam core.

I like the fourth grab's location, nice stuff,
How's the backfocus? Maybe its the image compression, but not one of them look sharp?

Without seeing the footage, IHMO, I think it's a bit dark and soft for my taste.

yeah it's underexposed for the skin tones. i exposed for the sky so it wouldn't blow out. i then pushed the mids a bit in post to compensate. but it's still a bit too dark in the shadows. i really did need some bounce boards.

it's soft for a few reasons.. the main reason is it's all constantly moving and handheld. (i tried to pick the shaprest stills from the timeline) no monitor and it's all on the fly, my focus isn't spot on because of that. and the compression doesn't do any favors.

what's Basketball? they must have copied me. :D

this isn't actually a film.. it's just some tests..... i though it would be obvious :D

haha kk, i took your sarcasm for truth lol. you got me!

hehe.

oh, and i meant Baseketball
