Hello all, just got my first Short W/ the SgPro filmed on monday night, filmed for about 4 hrs. starting at 10pm, so we got out of there at about 2:30AM and I had School the next day. Shoot went pretty smooth, as of right now I only have production pics, but I will try to get some grabs up tonight sometime. It is a comedy, If you guys have any comments or questions I will be glad to answer, Im the guy in Red. Im going to try to make a film soon with the HV20 and the SgPro next week.... depending on how I like the HV20, I have been doing lots of tests, but Im not convinced that I should use it rather than my trusty DVX. I am editing as we speak, this film needs to be turned in on friday morning, A few shots I am kinda disappointed with(lighting on my end), but for the most part it came out pretty nice for my first film with the SG I think :), pretty funny I hope! Grabs will be soon.

none of the grabs have been CC'ed or touched in any way, all raw shots, tell me what you think.

Cheers,

The last grab (close up of the sushi chef) looks awesome. Looking forward to some footage.

There will be no selling out being done, If I dont like what I can get with the HV20, I will stick with the DVX, but If i can do what I like with the HV20, I will film with it.

I had as much light as I could get, using wide angles inside with an Sgpro is hard tho, my 28 2.8 and my 35 2.8 where good, my 50 1.4 worked great, but some of the darker images are the 20mm 3.5, and shooting with the DVX i can pump up the light in post that much w/o the image going to hell.... So that the reason, we had about 2000W of light on set, but I could have still had more for some shots...

Is there anyway you can put it up on vimeo (or something of the like)? Not that I don't feel like downloading a 150 megabyte file, well, actually I don't. Sorry. But I do want to see the final product.
