Getting excellent results with this...and it's so easy combined with DebugMode Frameserving.
Any idea on how to create a streaming H264 with .mov container using this method?
I didn't know what the import thing was in the first set up and i cancelled a few audio profiles. is that a problem?
Make sure you have all the updates installed. And on my end, it will automatically add a convert RGB-> YUV filter automatically. I'm pretty sure there is a box you can tick to manually add the conversion.
Just want to add my experience with meGui. I downloaded the program last week.
It took me four days to get it to work. Every preset, codec, or just plain setting that was assumed in the tutorial was not present. I had to find, download, and add about 90% of what was used in the tutorial (CE quicktime preset, YU12 converter etc....) I got it to work, it looks great, but that was one of the most annoying adventures upon which I've ever embarked.
I'll post up the sites of where I finally found everything if anyone is interested.
Thanks for checking back in Demistate.
Oh god please do :O
I've been trying to get this program to work for 3 days now, every time I fix one problem a new one pops up a second later.
At the moment it tells me that "the video must be YUV", dont really know how to do that, is there an option in Premiere to make it a yuv? Or do I have to look for a converter?
I have followed the first tutorial a few times and it keeps giving me this error I can't for the life of me figure out.
AviSynth error
AviSynth script error:
AVISource:couldn't locate a decompressor for fourcc
(C:\Desktop\tutorial_encode.avs, line 1)
any help?
That worked perfectly. ThanksAVISYNTH doesn't understand your input file source. I'm guessing you're trying to use DV.
For some silly reason Avisynth requires an alternate DV decoder other than the one built into windows.
I've found that cedocia codec works well
