I'm Visiting LA and need help!

I'm not from LA but I've been there. I know it's a touristy thing to do, but the Universal studios tour was very much worth while. think about it...

Also not (directly) film-related, but you should go the In-N-Out Burger at least once during your trip. Order a double-double animal style, and enjoy.

My favorite one is at Sunset and Orange - you can visit it for lunch while running around Hollywood.

Visit the Bradbury Building, in downtown LA, where they shot parts of Blade Runner.

Visit the Barnsdall Art Center - Frank Lloyd Wright's Hollyhock House.

Visit Wright's Ennis house, overlooking Hollywood (where they also shot part of Blade Runner, plus don't-know-how-many classic movies) - if it's open.

Visit the Getty Center overlooking the Sepulveda Pass - on a clear day you can see out over the Pacific Ocean eastwards, and downtown LA to the west. Plus it's a beautiful complex with a decent collection.

Take the Paramount Studios tour - it's not an always-running cattle-car job like Universal's - you call ahead, get on a schedule, and you get a personal golf-cart tour around the lot. If you have to do a studio tour, make it that one.

Have a hot dog at Pink's, in Hollywood.

Eat dinner at Yamashiro, a very impressive restaurant (a Japanese-style 1911 hilltop mansion, actually) in Hollywood.

Visit the Farmer's Market in Mid-Wilshire. A big roofed-over bazaar-type place. Be sure to try the Malaysian food.

lol, this is kinda weired. i live 2 blocks away from the AFI, i pass by roscoe's and the los angeles filmschool everyday taking the bus to go to school, which is right in the middle of hollywood (hollywood highschool). but yet, i have never been into many of these places, except for universal studio, which i go like every week just for fun(i got the annual pass, it's like 10 minute from where i live).
