video dark in cs3, because of cs3, how to adjust?

got cs3 hooked up and the video in my project is hella dark, i adjusted my vid. card for the monitor and that was fine....but cs3 still looks hella dark in the project, and yes it's not the clips being too dark, its the playback....

Video card setting? Can not be anything else because it is not a Premiere setting.

Is the card an "approved" card for CS3? What is it?

Install / reinstall drivers for the video card.


What type of clips are they?
 
I dont see that on the list but maybe its ok. ?

How did you adjust your vid card for the monitor?
 
just went into settings for "video" and cranked up the brightness, the only thing it affects is applications like media player etc....but not premiere.
 
Prem doesn't draw to OVERLAY this is what the vid setting are for so forget about them, reset your monitor and try CS3 again, are you sure its not the footage my PDX's LCD used to lie to me on a regular basis when i shot with it (Underexposed)
 
i'll try cranking up the brightess on the monitor itself, then drop the settings in the vid card.....should temporarily solve it.
 
is it everything? like the viewer and timeline viewer? cause my prem used to have just a dark capture screen ?
