I've been meaning to ask you.

I thought that you had to go higher than 1/250th to achieve that effect. That is why I assume that you had done it in post.

I've seen reports of the LEX showing the GG at anything above 1/60th. I, like you have recorded at 1/250th without a problem. How fast have you gone before you see the GG?
 
I shot 1/250th without the LEX. I never put shutter in with it, ever! You see it quite quickly if you put shutter in, same with Brevis. You need a spinner to use shutter with an adaptor
 
from my tests, i can go safely to 1/120th shutter without it being noticeable, even on an HD screen, it mixes in with the normal grain/noise of HDV, any higher and it has a distinct pattern of its own.
 
I have gone 1/250th and I couldn't see it, but it was in low key situation. Maybe it was hiding in the dark.

I really only go bellow 180' when using the Glidecam. For effects i lower the frame rate to 18 or lower to get that old movie effect (not PN).

Thanks for your response. I would have tried it in a real shoot just find out it was useless.
