Letus X DIY dual rail support

The wonderful folks at Letus sent me a few risers and rail brackets to devise a way of connecting a second set of short rails to allow for proper distance between lens and mattebox.

I just have to get some short rails, and decide which mattebox to get ( best bang for the buck, suggestions? )

The distance between the lower rails and lens will be exactly 3 inches, which i believe is enough.

I just wanted to show you guys another way of DIY a dual rail support, because this way is very inexpensive and will work very well.

i have the new indifocus on right now. The friction wheel i generally keep on unless im doing serious stuff.

cool guys, but if you want to know more about the FF, visit indifocus.com. The focus of this thread is to help those who want another solution to dual railing their letus extreme with a low budget mind.

I haven't needed dual rail with my LEX and still have a 3/4 of an inch that I could go up if needed. Which mattebox are you looking at. I've got the Cinevate, but its the same (knockoff) as the Vocas and looks the same as the indimatte.

Could you use Vocas filter holders in the cinevate?
I would buy the cinevate but they don't make 4x 5.5 holders and Vocas doesn't have as many rotating stages.
That would solve my problem.
