Hello,
For one feature about 120 minutes of HD (Quick Time converted from from HDCAM SR) edited with FCP Studio 2 :
To grade that film with Color, can I let the whole lenght on the Time Line or I must divide that into many durations ? (for exemple 40 minutes +40 minutes+ 40 minutes)

About the last Mac Pro 2,8 Mhz, for Color what cards must be used ? (For Capture and Monitoring) It seems that DeckLink of BMD does'nt fit that new Mac Pro when using Color. (works very well with the "old" Mac Pro)
Thank you for advising me

It's better to break things into 20 minute reels in Final Cut Pro. It tends to choke on long, complex sequences, especially in HD. Also, 20 minutes is the standard length of a film reel so if you break it up beforehand you can time your reel breaks so they don't fall in the middle of a scene or transition (if you plan on printing to film at any point).

Hello Batutta,
Thank you for help. I still have 2 more questions :
1/ Once edited six 20 minute's project (120 minuts) how to assembly them together ? Copy/Past of the Time Line ?
2/ And how will be the behaviour of that long duration ?
Best regards
