Getting ready to purchase 35mm Adapter

it's kind of on the same lines... do you need to buy a 35mm adapter? Which one, why?
I'd say if you've seen the footage from them and want to do that, the best way is through these adapters and not any post-processing technique.

As for best adapter, thats a more personal choice. Personally i'm looking to pick up an SGpro once they release the slightly modified rail setup for usage with the Flip. Currently it looks a little too unstable for me.

Brevis (I used google for CAD to USD conversion)
Brevis35 HD Imaging Bundle (Brevis, Flip, 1 mount, 45 cm rails, case): $1741
Lead Time: a few days?
Final Price (with shipping): $1741 + $75 = $1,816

m2 doesn't have a comparable flip module bundle.

Nice summary! I was doing something similar, but some how didn't capture the right pricing to comparison. Thank you.

More question(s) - from the pics I've seen of the SG Pro setup vs. the Letus on Zacuto rails, I'm strongly considering getting the Zacuto rail setup instead. I assume that in addition to the Letus, the Brevis and SG will work on those same Zacuto rails?

Hi Ho,

I have bought a zacuto Z riser so I can mount my SGpro with flip module up the other way so the lens is higher than the camera, which is a much neater way of working. It looks like this:

You will need some shorter support rods (bout 10 inches) as the long SGpro ones stick out the front too far...

I just wanted to see if anyone else has ordered an SG setup recently and if you reside in the US. I thought it would be around $1500 but my AMEX is showing $2100. Which is what I though originally but I saw posts suggesting it would be around $1500. Want to make sure AMEX didn't make a mistake, though more likely my mistake.

If so, this might be useful to others getting ready to order. I've also heard to keep about $80 available for when UPS comes to deliver.

Confirmed I was using the wrong currency conversion table. I had Euro selected instead of British Pound. Still a great deal though!
