Two HVX200's and One Sound Devices 72

I have a shoot coming up that will use two HVX200’s and a Sound Devices 722, hence the title. I would like to know if anyone has a method to sync the time code between all the devices. I know syncing the two HVX’s is no problem via firewire, but I do not know of any way to sync the camera to the sound recorder. To my knowledge, the SD 722 syncs over a BNC cable like most cameras and recorders. The HVX as you well know syncs via 4 pin firewire and that is where we have the issue. The SD 722 has a firewire port but that port’s only function seems to be data transfer. Is there some kind of firewire TC to BNC TC box that solves all problems? Or some brilliant work around someone has cooked up?

Any thoughts are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I am not aware of anyone that has come up with a mechanism for jamming DVX or HVX cameras from an external TC source. The only thing you can do is get a lockit and record it to one of the audio channels on one of the HVX's and sync the time on the two camera. Jam from the 722 and you will sort of have a solution. :-)

Wasn't aware this was a reliable method of syncing HVX cameras.... via Firewire.
I thought the camera would not output FW in the 720PN 24 or 30 mode.
Why not split sound to each camera from 722 or a mixer.? 722 for backup. And use clap slate.
