What are the best of the cheaper 35mm adapters?

Everyone's seems to be in agreement that the m2, sgpro, letus and brevis are high quality tools, not to mention the P&S Technic and Movietube systems. But does anyone know how the cheaper 35mm adapters rank? I'm talking about the ones that retail for around $700 or less. Which are the best of the bunch?

I'm going to be shooting my next project in SD so I am not as concerned with getting an uber-sharp gg image. I'm wondering if it would be feasible to buy a cheaper adapter and if so, which would be a good choice.

thanks

Why not just buy an M2, Brevis etc used...get your better picture quality for the price of a lesser adapter.

You usually get what you pay for.

For about $700 you can get the barebones SGpro, just the adapter, no flip or follow focus, and the SG is a really good bit of gizmomometery, much nicer image than the cheaper ones, and in my opinion better than the rest of them, brevis, letus, M2 etc. I also had a tinker with a £5k movietube system and I think the image from the SG is better than the movietube image. It looks too diffused with the movietube, not as sharp as the SG.

I'm kind of in agreement with you guys, but I'm not sure if those options are going to work out in my favor. I'd love to get a used brevis, m2, letus or sgpro, but no one seems to be selling. I don't like putting up those WTB postings because they involve me bumping it up every 6 hours since no is replying. Maybe I'll throw netiquette to the wind and do so.

I've been looking into the sgpro but the 4 week wait time is just too much for me. I've got to start shooting in two weeks.

Letus Flip Enhanced, at $700. Nothing comes within a mile of it at that price, considering that it's right-side-up. But I'd probably say like ecking, save $200 more and get the Economy.

I believe the Go35 adapter sells for about $650. It's very sharp but suitable only for SD though, in HD you can see the GG grain since it's a static adapter. Not sure if it's still being sold though.

Is the Letus Flip Enhanced still available new? B&H is completely backordered on all of their letus economies, and I'm afraid that when they get back in stock the price will have risen to $1000 like it is at the Letus sites.
