I'm running one hidden (not to mods though, hehe) board here, but the pace is not daily.
Anyone else interested?
I would prefer one move a day. Thus I think I could handle a few boards.
Maybe in the cafe (?) , not sure.
 
Alright, how can we set this up?

My current one is in an unrelated thread and we are trying not to bump it to give others in the thread their say on other matters.

So I guess if we started one in the cafe and not bumped it ourselves, maybe that could work?

Not sure how the mods feel.
Maybe if we can run it in the background and not continuously bump it or take up bandwidth it might be okay.
Like once the thread is open and youve posted once, just modify your post on each move.

Would that be okay?
 
I would love to, but I'm not a chess player at all. However, if you want to start a Hold 'em game, I'll all for that... :laugh:
 
Haha. I used to play cards online. I can play straight poker good but.... mmm let's get the chess thing done first.
If that works, maybe well throw in a card game.
 
In the meantime I'll set up 2 or 3 boards in a moment..
Pick who you want to play. I'll play everyone but you can play someone else.

When we start I'll post a move # like Move 1.
When you move post Move 2, ect.

I'll change the names once we start.

Just copy the pic and edit in your paint program & post your move.

If you simply modified each post, you wouldn't have to worry about a bump. And, there is a time and date to each adjustment, so you could tell easily who moved and when.

You may also want to start a log file if you want to go this route, from both players, to ensure after each new move is put into the modified post, there is no problem going back and looking at the moves.

You already have three games up, so I'll hold off until you do it again. Please let me know when that happens. I'll get my chessboard and computer *ahem* did I say computer? I meant I'll get my chessboard ready.

I'll probably get my ass handed to me on a plate, but it sounds really fun.
