Knock Knock, thoughts on this short anyone?

Ummm......so you've already got reapers' robes, scythes and sickles lying around the house???

I've got the sickle (only able to find one so it will have to do double duty.) And I've got the reapers robe and hood, but a Scythe will be real hard to come by these days what with weed wackers replacing them for the most part. I can fake that though if I have to.

I saw an old classmate of mine from high school who has an antique shop and he had scythes and sickles. So now I have another sickle, an old one and a great looking scythe. Also I picked up another Grim Reaper robe with hood all for just under 100.00.

Now I need to set up a shooting schedule and then lay out the scenes to be shot. As I've never done either anyone got an idea on how they would set the shoots up etc?

Good work!

Since no 2 scenes take place in the same location, the shooting schedule should be fairly flexible. Generally the action all takes place in one room in each scene, so that will help too. Just do a scene a day -- two, if you can get away with it. Schedule them according to proximity of locations. In other words, if the locations for two of your scenes are geographically close enough together, you might be able to shoot both scenes in a single day. That kind of thing.

Another plus is almost no scenes share characters with other scenes -- with the exception of Brian, of course. So if you shoot the first scene, then you're finished with the actor who plays David -- no need to bring him back. Shoot the 2nd scene, and you're done with 'Debbie' and 'Andy' (was that his name?) Shoot the 3rd scene and you're done with 'Ruth' and 'Ben'. None of your talent will have to work more than one day except 'Brian' and possibly 'The Boss'.

Feel free to PM me if you need further help with planning the shoot. Good luck! Can't wait to see it!

Thanks David for the input. That was pretty much what I was thinking of doing, but you knever know if there might be a better way to do it.

Knock, Knock is finished shooting and in post right now as we put it together and add some music, including a couple of original songs done by some friends of mine and some music loops for background.
