season 4 of Lost starts tonight

Looking for a woman
anyone else really excited about the return of Lost? if you haven't been following it, you can catch a video recap of the series here.

You ever take a nap in the middle of the day and you wake up and everyone is gone? Feels like the entire world is off doing something fun and left you out of it? Thats how I feel about LOST. I feel like the only human being who has never watched a single episode. Am I missing out on something?

If you had asked that question at ANY point during season 1, I would have said 'hell yes!'

These days... I'm not so sure. I'll definitely tune in tonight, but I'm not excited about it.

i love it. great writing and acting. if you watch the 8:15 recap on the website and that will sort of give you an understanding of what is going on. then tune in tonight, i hear it's supposed to be a really good episode. :)

Not so far as I'm concerned, and I was in Hawaii for season 1...

...on the other hand, I commend to your attention the fine ABC-TV program Eli Stone, for which we shot pilot+3 last year, which is coming up right after...

I admit I'll just be watching it for the sets, but I do remember enjoying the scripts, a lot.

I have a love hate relationship with the show.

I think it is really great at times but REALLY CHEAP ASS at other times.

I'm sure the writers will screw us over on this two episode as well.

In fact I just found out that the "Two Hour Premere" they've been hyping is a load of sh*t. and the first hour is a series recap. THE FIRST Hour!!!

I call bullshit on that....esp when ABC already did this brilliant 8 min recap...

So yeah, I love it but hate it. I ususally wait till 4 or five eps in and then watch em all at once.

I started watching Lost last week through abc.com, and I have thoroughly enjoyed every episode. I haven't been able to finish the third season yet, but the synopsis on the website has mostly brought me up to speed to be able to watch tonight.

I love the character development. It has been very refreshing. And, the lenses. The bokeh in every shot is beautiful.

yeah, it's had it's ups and downs like all shows. And I thought season one was the best. But it's still pretty creative. I love how they flipped the "past" and "present" at the end of the last season.

Eli Stone looks like some real nasty religious propaganda nonsense. I puked just watching the commercials.

I agree with rook though, the "two hour" premier thing was a jip.

Very interesting show last night.

The biggest clue to the mystery of the island to me is the dharma polar bear in the middle of the Tunisian desert. Seems to confirm some kind of time travel hypothesis. I think this is the same polar bear that Sawyer shot way back in the beginning of the show. Why is it in the desert? Perhaps the island exists in a time bubble in some distant past when Tunisia was more tropical. It's in the same place Sawyer shot it, and has decayed there throughout the centuries as Tunisia became desert. Also, Jeremy Davies character says something about how the light just doesn't scatter right, perhaps because millions of years ago the sun was a different size and brightness. Or, the light not scattering correctly could fall in line with one of my early theories, the "Open Your Eyes" version where the plane crash was staged and the survivors gassed and their brains hooked up to a virtual reality simulation. I don't think this is the case anymore, but I don't discount it entirely...Or the show could just be written by people making crap up as they go, piling enigma upon enigma just to keep us idiots watching.

SPOILERS

The time travel, why only the Oceanic 6? what happened to everyone else?

END SPOILERS

i'm still guessing. we know that jack, kate, hurley, sayid, and aaron make it back, but beyond that we don't know why there are only 6. the time distortion has something to do with experimenting with electromagnetism on the island.

And Ben. That's the six the public knows about, but maybe there are even more.

There used to be a Teaser for Season 4 with some Dharma experiment gone wrong.
They accidently cloned/teleported a rabbit.

And I still wonder how this Disney-Statue (4 toes) is involved. An alien race? But they completely abandoned it the last two seasons, maybe they thought it's a bad idea.
