Holy ****...john Rambo Trailer!!!

I like that they took this in a different direction...after hearing some of the dialogs I'm convinced it's really a comedy...here Rambo helps people who are getting killed by killing other people...maybe next time Rambo can come back as a guy who helps raped people by rapping other people.

Also, he could have saved money by mixing Rambo and Rocky...you know, Adrian is killed by the Rebels and then Rocky boxes all the rebel troops to death...

I have heard a lot of people actually lost their lives in this movie...most of them by committing suicide after reading the script.

Hi Rawfa: Rambo is a great genre movie - it's an action film and a war movie. Go see it and then critique it - not the other way around. The script is not as dim as you might expect, and it actually addresses your point-of-view directly. There is a main character in the film that confronts Rambo with nearly your exact line, saying "you can't change things just by killing people." Later that character sees what happens when you try fighting modern-day killing machines like the Burmese army with non-violence.

Were any of you watching the same preview I was watching? It looks horrible, cheap, low budget. Don't get me wrong indie films are great, but Rambo needs to blow s#!+ up man, Come on! nuke the entire rain forrest, damn global warming! I'm just saying It looks like it wasnt budgeted enough that's all.

I saw that same preview. It was a leaked rough assembly of some raw footage with roughed in soundtrack and music. It was mean to show distributors the work in progress. I thought the same thing when I saw it..it looked like a low-budget indie or something. Some of those clips so not even appear in the final film.

Watched this finally

I enjoyed it. Gratuitous in violence but also what one might expect if in reality. Better than parts 2 and 3.

Entertaining, nostalgic and much more serious than I thought it would be. I don't feel compelled to own it, unlike the ROCKY BALBOA film but was worth my time.

It had balls. It had a good storyline with good actors.

while i enjoyed it for what it was (very cathartic as i'd had a bad day, but not as bad as theres) however i laughed out loud when-

********************spoiler alert*****spoiler alert*******************

the guy with the barret 50 cal said "theres nothing we can do" while watching from a clear vantage point as his partners and the missionary's we're about to be executed. WTF? if any one could do something, it's a guy with a barret. 10 quick shots and it would've all been over. now i know that would've been a lame ending but come on, show him taking a shot but being empty or have him loose his weapon before they get there or a gun jam, anything other than, "theres nothing we can do" ok, i'm done now.

****************************all done****************************

and i don't know how in the world the mpaa is gonna be able to tell anyone to tone down the violence or gore after the precedent it set by giving this theatrical cut an "r "rating
thanks
-k-
