Can I monitor DVX live footage thru Final Cut?

Title says it all. Can I monitor live DVX footage as we film on my Mac G4 thru Final Cut or imovie? Correct color is not important- we simply want to have a monitor under a table for puppeteers to see what they are doing while we film. Any thoughts?

So, just attach a cable to a tv or a monitor and direct to the DVX?

Sure it has RCA outputs that will show the live image and in real time. Into FCP there will be a slight delay.
