Which monitor would you choose?

Ikan doesn't flip. You'll need a noga arm.

We just used it this weekend for a shoot on the HVX. It's definitely sharp enough and extremely helpful in pulling focus with the Letus Extreme, but the built quality isn't the best. There's no release button for the battery, so you'll have to yank the thing out; feels like the contacts would go with it eventually. Plus one of the BNC connector was lose, so the monitor would constantly display funky colors.

Heres how I see it. If your using your monitor to make an income then you cant afford not to use the LH80, if you arent using it to make an income then you can probably get away with something else and if its something else your looking at, I guess I would be seriously looking at Siniarchs Carrion first up because of the higher resolution.

The focus in red is great, but the built in waveform monitor even though its small and unmovable, IMO, justifies the price of this monitor.

LH80 red line focus with lens adapter?

LH80 red line focus with lens adapter?

Does anyone know if you can use the Panasonic LH80 red line focus function with a lens adapter on the camera?

Yes, in focus is in focus. The focus on red will outline everything in the shot that is in focus, regardless to what it is hooked up to.
