Dallas Cowboys (08) champions, I'm jumping on the ban wagon now. LMao

I really hope so. I'm only kind of a fan of their football team but when the Cowboys lose my math teacher gets incredibly hard.

Our class averages on his tests are typically in the 90s. Our most recent test's class average was a 68 (first test since Cowboy loss). I'm not even exaggerating on this.

Anyway, I'm glad the Giants won. I'm wasn't too passionate about either team tonight but it was a good game.

I like the Colts and Chargers chances next year. The Colts have the tools, and the Chargers are a great blend of older and younger guys with a fierce defense. Gitants will have a huge target on their back next year. Cowboys are iffy. Too many emotionally fragile players!

I'd like to see the Browns do well, and the Cardinals. Both have a chance to get far.

The Chargers? Are you kidding me? They were lucky this year to get to the playoffs with Norv as their head coach. Considering they didn't fire anybody...I don't see the Chargers doing much of ANYTHING next year....

The Colts...I like because they are a good team and Payton is Payton...

First of all, Congrats to the Giants, they did what no other team did this year. Their defence played and were able to contain the Pats offence and the deserve all the credit in the world for playing the way they did.

As a die hard Pats fan, this one is going to sting for a while. Going through the entire season the way they did and not coming out on top is dejecting. That being said, they did have one hell of a year, no other team has won 18 games in season, we hold basically all the major records in the NFL. To play the way the did all year, with all that pressure on them is incredible.

Manning and the Giants offence did get pretty lucky, there was that first fumble on their 30 yard line in the 2nd quarter that we recovered and then everyone piled on and one of the Giants players ripped the ball lose after the play was blown dead and they somehow gave the ball back to them. I have no idea why they allowed that, that would have resulted in at least 3 points. The last drive Manning threw up two bad passes that should have been picked off and nearly were that would have ended the game.

Anways, theres many what if's, fact is we didn't get it done and the Giants did, so all the credit to those guys, they played a good game.

As for Belichick leaving the field, both teams and coaches did and both coaches came out to the center of the field, everyone can hate on him all they want, but the fact of the matter is, he's going down as one of the greatest coaches ever in the NFL and he and this team accomplished something no other team in the NFL has ever done this year. So hate all you want. This team is in it's prime and this won't be the last time you see them in the Superbowl in the coming years.

The Giants kinda reminded me of the 2001 Patriots, underdogs all the way through the playoffs and the big game but snuck out the upset.

Is it just me or is Brett Favre really come off right now like a douche. Here's a guy for the past 3 seasons had debated on wheter he wanted to play another year, went back and forth all last off season contemplating whether he wanted to return, the Packers patientally waited it out, gave him time to think about it, finally he makes a decsion he wants to return.

Now, after this past season he retires, says he done with football and is too beaten down and tired to continue, football was the last thing he wanted to think about. 4 months pass and hear he is trying to force The Packers hand in getting them to bring him back? WTH? They've obvioulsy moved forward with their plans when he retired. And him coming back would basically **** all that up. They guy for like the past 5 years keeps saying he's going to retire and doesn't. I don't blame the Packers one bit.

I heard an interview with him last night and he came across really dickish like the Packers were trying to screw him or something. He's basically publicly called out the owners and management and put a real "Me first attitude" out there. It's really soured my opinion off him (which wasn't great in the first place, but thats more as a player not his character). He's been a below average QB for like the past 7 seasons. And you gotta believe that the Packers management is getting sick of the "Brett Favre Show" that surronded their team the past 3 or so years. Not to mention Aaron Rodgers the guy to take over his spot, Favre's flip flopping must be driving this kid nuts.

Wouldn't mine hearing some opinions from some Packer fans.

i'm not a packer fan but i think the packers mgmt are the real douche bags. just release him! he's earned it. i hope he reports to training camp. that will be really interesting to see. no way are they going to put favre behind a clipboard on the sideline. if they do there's gonna be a riot.

Yeah, their not going to have him as backup thats for sure.

They have every right to trade him and they'll do so at their discretion.

They won't release him, that won't happen, the Packers will try and get something for him, won't be much cos nobody is going to mortgage their future for a guy who might retire at the end of the year. But they just won't let him go. It be terrible management on their part, have him leave and have no control where he ends up, like say a rival like Minnesota or Chicago, they'd look like idiots if they did that.

The past three years the guy has been on the "Brett Favre Farewell Tour". It's getting a little old.

i definitely agree with all of that. i just don't want to hear gb mgmt going on about how they want to protect favre's legacy. whatever. they're both just playing the game. i'd just like to see him get back to a super bowl. pretty impressive what he's doing at this point in his career. i'm only 34 and my knees creak when i walk up steps. :)

The big stat for me is the consecutive game streak, he has going, that is extremely impressive.

I think he leads in all time touchdown passes but also all time intecerpetion.

Green Bay had a good year this year and were an OT away from making the Super Bowl, so it's interesting that Green Bay doesn't want him back, but on the other hand I'm sure their just frustrated with him going back and forth on the issue and had enough of it.

And yeah the "legacy" issue the management is saying is also bullshit.
