Tightening the lens to the lens mount (SGpro)

I just received my SGpro bundle and absolutely love it. The only problem is when I start to pull focus the lens moves slightly in the mount. I have three lenses and it exhibits the same problem with each lens. How do I go about tightening it?

Thanks,

i just ordered an SGpro like 5 minutes ago.... and now i read this

one of the issues i had with my old adapter was the poor lens mount.

what mount do you have? nikon?

damn.... that's what i ordered. hopefully this issue can be resolved.

in the meantime, post footage :D

Do you mean the mount is unscrewing from the face of the adapter or the lens is slipping in the mount?

My Nikon mount is rock solid also, no movement at all, If anything i have a hard time getting the bugger off,lol

i think he means the attachment of the lens to the mount. that there is an ever so shift of maybe a millimeter as he rack focuses. I had the same issue with my first mount on my letus extreme. They swaped em for me no questions asked.

If only every company in the world has this type of service... man.. what a great place it would be. hehe

try putting a thin bit of sticky tape on the ring in between your lens. that used to work with my old adapter. but sometimes the lens got a bit too stuck and wouldn't come off. the thinner the sticky tape the better.

It shouldnt be an issue... i dont understand how its possible. the SG mount is a sloid machined piece of aluminum. Held in place by three screws.

I dont have a Nikon mount, but an FD and its absolutly solid.... so solid infact that the FF gears slip before the mount torques.

Timur, it's not the whole mount that's moving but the snap in connection. With mine you can get it to move but it does require a good deal of force.

I am not trying to slam the unit. In fact, I love it. The only reason I posted on dvxuser first is because I thought my question would be answered quickly. I thought it was probably a screw or a bolt that could just be tightened. Since that is not the case, I posted the same question on the shoot35 forum and I am going to pm Wayne.
