The worst theme song in the history of television.

From "The Paper Chase." Great show. Awful song.

[HorseFilms]

Wow, I forgot how terrible that was. Excellent.

It will never be as bad as the "Enterprise" song.

[DannyDarko]

Am I the only person who can't stand to hear the theme song to All in the Family? It just makes me want to throw up every time I hear it.

[Jon Starr]

I liked the firefly song. One song I couldn't stand though is the angel theme song.

[JasonFox]

Holy crap, that was bad. And I have it in my mp3 library as I have a ton of TV themes from some stock CDs. Glad it's never come up on "shuffle." Yowza. It makes me wanna kick back and roll a jay. And I've never smoked pot a day in my life.

A challenger.

Call me square. I actually kind of like that song. I absolutely hate the Friends theme song. They actually played it at my gym and spoiled by workout.

I'd humbly submit:

This one is pretty damn hideous, especially towards the end--

Terry is correct.

Blaine is oh, oh, oh so wrong...

Not a bad theme, but man... what you could get on TV in 1972. I loved this show.

And if it's not bad enough, then there's Maude.

BJ & the Bear

[Erik Olson]

Don't you dare bring BJ into this.

An early hint that one actor had some statues in his future... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORKyyHBy6JQ ...and the reason I pray for a piano to fall on Billy Joel's head each and every night before I go to sleep.
