matte box: incovenince for 35mm adaptor?

i am considering purchasing a matte box. my only concern is this. Considering that you have to change lenses constantly with a 35mm adaptor. Is having a matte box attached a huge hastle? do you have to take the whole matte box apart to attach a new lens?

Yes, it is an inconvenience when you have to change lenses. That's why some mattebox have a swing away feature that makes this very easy.

You have to do it with large format cameras as well. It's an inconvenience, but a part of the system.

It's more of an inconvenience to not have one plus filters.
