Must Have Songs for Long Roadtrip

I'll be departing on a long roadtrip tonight and my iPod is beginning to get a bit too repetitive for me so I'm going to be making a couple mix cd's.

Just wanted to get some opinions on "must listen" music for long roadtrips. It's going to be me and a couple close friends and it'll be night time. We don't want to lose our thrill so no depressing or slow music, persay.

Think sing-a-longable music (help me stay awake)

You post it - I download it.
Knock yourselves out.

This is a great idea for a thread. I'd love to know must-haves for long trips. I'm pretty music illiterate, so recommendations would be wicked.

back in Jersey.

Great suggestions guys - wound up making 3 cd's using A LOT of your recommendations. It was shocking to see how many songs I actually used before reading the posts and seeing them suggested. Similar taste in music.

and shocking enough, ullanta - my friend made a cd and he put "Warm Leatherette" on there. Quite an interesting song - he tells me it's about a car accident but with sexual undertones.

Throwing a curve to my classic rock roots, I submit the following:

"Smack That" - Akon
"Small World" - Blake O.
"Low" - Flo Rida
"Stronger" - Kanye West
"Promiscuous" - Nelly Furtado
"Beautiful" - Snoop Dogg
"Sweetest Girl (Dollar Bill)" - Wyclef Jean

Don't forget to add some:
Bob Dylan
The "Boss"
Nirvana
Dire Straits

Throw in some:
Blues Traveler
Cranberries
Gin Blossoms

and if you have the guts, sprinkle in some:
Muddy Waters
Al Green
Gipsy Kings

And the Ultimately obscure capper:
Anything from the Wishbone Ash album "New England"
