Recently I've been watching the Indecline Vol. 1 video from the guys who gaves us the Bumfights series. There's some really slick effects throughout the video. I was curious as to what they used to pull off these effects. My first guess was After Effects, which is why I'm posting this here.

I don't have any clips to show as a refrence, so I'm kinda posting this with hopes that some have you have seen it and know what I'm talking about. But here's the DVD trailer and the website.

Well this is just stupid but I did watch the bum fights videos in which yes, they guy did alot of motion graphic work using After effects.

Find an effect you want to learn and let us know.
 
Haven't seen the graphics but Bum Fights was some demented ****.

Getting homeless people to fight each other for a bottle of liquor and getting their faces tattooed with the show logo is so fundimentally wrong I cannot believe it.

How the hell is this stupid? I was just curious what program they used. Sorry if I'm not as well versed as you. If you don't know then say so, don't make me look like an idiot for asking a question.

yeah, people are nuts but plying a mentally disturbed homeless man to fight for whisky just turns my stomach.

To eat your own I guess.

Anyway, commercial reject, yeah, it looks like after effects.

The reason your post got called stupid was cause you didn't post a specific effect you were interested in.

Choose the effect you want and ask away, I'm sure someone here can help you out.

I agree. The video is stupid and sad... But. The following scenes when they shot the skateboarding scene, I would like to know how to edit the lines that they had in their video using after affects. If anyone can tell me how that would be awesome... =)
