Where to find "Title Whooshing" sound effects?

[Mavoz]

hi!

I'm trying to source those little "whooshes" and "Swishes"..."Dramatic Text boom off page" style sound effects that one can use in fast action video clip montages...eg. When the text dramatically spins off or on...I want to match it with an appropriate sound effect...

(I guess there is a techincal term for these!)

I've tried searching through the free sound effect sites out there and am struggling to specifially find the right style "swish" or "woosh!"

Can anyone recommend a source for this..am certainly prepared to pay too if price is reasonable...and effects are good quality.

Thanks!

Try the sound effects sites, but search for "whoosh", not "woosh" -- spelling makes all the difference.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tips David & Derrick,

That "Designer SoundFX" looks like exactly the thing I was trying to find....but will look at the other options too.

Thank you!!

Try searching on Google 'sound efx' or just 'sound effects'.

I'll second designer sfx - its pretty sweet for the price if you are on a budget and dont need a huge variety. I do alot of corporate stingers and it usually has every crash swoosh and funny noise I need. The included musical beds arent bad either.
