HD monitoring and output

We´re getting ready for a MacPro, and since we still primarily work in SD and only occasionaly do 1080, I was skipping HD monitoring so far.
But since we´d also need a SDI SD out to our Sony BVM, I thought the step up to a low end HD solution wouldn´t be that big.
The MXO seems to works just fine, how much would we benefit from getting a Kona LHe?
In what way does it speed up editing DVCproHD? That seems to be main advantage over the MXO...

Is anyone using the BMD Intensity Pro with a HDMI monitor? Would this setup be as accurate as the MXO...?

Please share your thoughts...

But as accurate as the MXO and ACD? I wonder. I would like to compare the two. Chuck, you and I need to get together and test that...since I have the MXO.

As for the Kona LH speeding up DVCPRO HD...I wonder why they make that claim because I also have the LH and it doesn't speed up a thing. BUT...it is a great card. Advantage of this over the MXO...it can CAPTURE..the MXO cannot. Advantage MXO? It works with a laptop, and turns a $800 monitor into a professional monitoring solution.

But I would like to see the Panasonic/BMD solution too...

So far we´re leaning towards the Intensity pro with an Eizo HD2441W on HDMI, since we´re hoping for NAB to bring ACDs.
Editing monitor would be a 24" till the ACD comes out.
Our Sony BVM would be on the Intensitys S-Video out additionaly.

If the LH doesn´t speed up things, the only reason to get it would be the SDI-In and so far we have no need for that.

The MXO is proven und tested, but for desktop use I would really like to know if the results differ much from a Intensity with a HDMI LCD attached.
But the long due make over of the ACD, given an even better LCD panel, might make the MXO the best choice again.

If you guys could find the time to compare the two solutions, I bet many here would be interested too!
