CPU question. Why are all my the videos stretched even youtube videos?

I just got a new workstation today hooked everything up and I guess I have some setting set where it makes all my videos qts from my website or even youtube videos are stretched? Some kind of resolution thing? I have 22inch montior, xw8400, nivida quadro 3500 gfx card.

Thanks for any tips.
 
go to your display settings and set it to 1680x1050. if it won't allow you to go that high, you need to go to nvidia's website and download the latest drivers for your video card.

Set my display settings for my cpu right not the nivida card settings correct?

Oh don't be so sure... I've heard this can happen when the CPU is doing too many things and the available processor wears thin.

I was editing a video and rendering a 3D app at the same time and the video opacity kept dropping until the video was almost transparent.

I wish they would make thicker processors.:cry:
