why would i want 2 3.2GHz quad core processors, 32 GB of memory, a 1.5 GB quadro FX video card, and 4tb of hd space to edit 4k footage ... if I have to burn it to a STUPID DVD ... does this not make sense to anyone else? (oh and at the bargain price of $22,000, he he)

Still a kick ass Mac ... but for 22k, can we get compatibility for a $500 blu-ray burner, maybe something more will be announced at Macworld.

Sure it doesn't come pre-installed if that's what you're asking about, but it's not like the possibility isn't there. On my old powerbook without a superdrive, I used to use DVD Studio Pro to build the DVD then copied it over to my PC where I burned it on to a DVD. This is even easier.
