I need a monitor for use with HVX and lens adaptor. I guess I need a 7 inch HD field monitor to be sure of correct focus. Ive heard great things about the marshall. What else is there? Can you please provide me with some links? Also what should I type into ebay? All that comes up are dirty old car stereo dvd monitors. Thanks in advance.

I have the Marshall, and while it is good, I will be replacing it with the Panasonic BT LH-80 soon, specifically for the "focus in red feature" for use with my 35mm adapter.

THere's the marshall, ikan, totevision, panny lh-80, panny more expensive one (can't remember the model, but its a half in larger I think), siniarch is selling his new monitor that is getting pretty awesome reviews and looks good...

All of these have been talked to death on this forum. Not sure if you'll find anything good on ebay really unless you find one of these models. I'm getting ready to purchase the lh-80 too for the focus in red. Pretty excited about the waveform too.

I need the cheapest lightest SD monitor for now? Any advice. I just want it for this dumb ass flip problem at the moment? I remeber seeing a really cheap low low res one that was pictured on a XL2. Does anyone know where i can find this or offer any advice?

Look for TFTs for cars, find a powering solution, check for s-video in on the monitor and your good for SD work...
Or just buy the Totevsion HD 7"...

Benn I've got an SD monitor I'm up for selling as I will be buying a HD monitor later in the year.

Its the Varizoom 7 inch SD monitor. Its a composite connection straight out of the HVX - yellow cable. Its pal and NTSC and has a flip function.

Let me know if you are interested and I'll pm you details.
