New website n'stuff -- Official Nasa Commemorative Coins.

[Kholi]

Thought I'd share a project that I helmed from conception.

www.nasacoins.com

It's an official Nasa represented coin collection commemorating the life of the Hubble Telescope and all of the wonderful things it's taught mankind through-out its existence. It's being decommissioned very soon, which is kinda sad but it's kind-of a landmark sooo we kicked this product out in memory of the man and the machine.

It's really hard to get Nasa to approve anything, and they only do 2 or 3 things (if I remember right) every two years that has their official logo on it. I worked with the designer and oversaw the entire project, which was pretty cool.

All of the photography and video (don't laugh at my product shots!) belong to me, as well.

This ain't to sell any coins, I'm just kinda proud that I got to be a major part of this.

But it will be replaced by the James Webb telescope. The Hubble has been wonderful, but it's OLD. There is a full-sized replica at the Smithsonian in D.C. The ****er's big.

Yeah, I know it's going to be replaced. Just that it's being decommissioned and it's been up there for a decent amount of time. Y'get what I'm sayin!!!

I want to go to the Smithsonian to see it. After looking at SO many pictures for like the last year n'a half, I want to see what it actually looks like up close.
