my first bug in years- pro 2.0 no sound out of audio 1??

i have audio on track 2 but the audio that is with the video on track 1 cant be heard, other projects are fine.

anyoen know this little bug


also if i drag the same clip from the diretory into the timeline i get audio..


more wierd **** is going on with the audio...

if i make a new timeline and copy footage over from the ohter project and save it and copy more footage the audio from the previous save will no longer be there ... man

is it save to upgrade or downgrade from pro and still hae the project and effects and evryrhing intact?
I'm worried @ this point that the rest of my saves are acting up as well but i havent tested out i dont want to distrub them

i can play a clip from the directory in the project window and is fine but it wont give me audio from the timeline and or if i double click on the clip on the timeline and open in project window no audio either.

Try trashing the CFA files in the Media Cache folder for this particular project (while PPro is closed, of course). The next time you launch, you'll have to wait for PPro to re-conform the audio, but that might fix your problem. This happened to me once, and I think that fixed it. You could also attempt right-clicking on the audio and hitting "Render and Replace".
 
yeah, it has something to do with the temp conformed files fo rthe audio. you can do what cbrougham says, or copy your sequence and all other files in the project bin in one copy to a new project with all the same settings and it should work fine. in the new project just double click your sequence and your up and running again.
 
i found a fix

i just moved the original capture files to another folder, opend up the project and linked the missing files to the new folder and it worked.
