New Extreme/ EX1 Short in 60fps

i have got a pl mount for my extreme now. Can anyone recommend a good place to hire some lenses in London so i can do a nice test with them?

Great stuff. Enjoyed your movie very much...Very organic stuff....gets emotional...the shot of pouring of the whisky is one of my favourites...btw saw one of the films you did with the shift/tilt lenses the other day....please tell me...in order to achieve that fantastic blurry bokeh - diagonal depht of field effect....does the lense needs to be a shift or a tilt lense? or maybe both a shift tilt lense....have you ever tried any of the nikons - there's a shift 35mm nikkor lense at a reasonable price...could it be possible to achieve the same look with it...or it really needs to be a shift/tilt like their 85mm micro 2.8 which is really expensive...btw I saw you were using a Hartblei lense...how much did you pay for those and how happy are you with them....the footage on that shift tilted movie looked really magical and I am lense tilt fishing for some musical videos I will be doing so I thought about investing in one...I owe a lensebaby...it's nice...but I need something more solid....

best regards

Hi Philip:

Very nice shots as usual. On your computer when viewing the QuickTime, do you see flickering on all of the bathroom shots? I assume that this is because of shooting it at 24fps or do you shoot 25fps? Don't see it on the exteriors, but actually quite a bit of it on the bathroom and kitchen interiors. Any ideas what it is coming from?

Best,

Dan

there is flickering. i talk about it in my blog. not sure why. think it is because of the frame rate and interior lights.

i used tilt and shift to get the effect i wanted of lost times. never used the nikons. the harbleis are great and i got them for a very good price off of ebay!

Phil, how does the 20mm Sigma perform with the LE? I see your comments about the Brevis flip when using this lens and I am curious as to your observations if it is an adapter issue or perhaps the EX1 and the 1/2" chip? Thanks.
