Places to hire equipment hire in London?

DoubleP · Dec 28, 2007

Wasn't quite sure where to post this. I’ve spent the last few days looking up equipment rental places (to hire the Sennheiser MKH 416) in and around London. Here is a list that I’ve compiled.

www.decodeuk.com
www.ibhltduk.com
www.awfullynice.com
www.axisfilms.co.uk
www.stronghire.com
www.filmscapemedia.com

Has anybody had any experience with any of these places or recommend any other place. Please do share you experience. Thanks.

can't say I've heard of any of those.

Can recommend http://www.feralequipment.com/ out of all the small guys.

For the big guns there is always VMI, OnSite etc.

I have personally used Richmond Film Service in Richmond, just outside of London. I recommend them highly.
